Athletics at Bobcat Innovation
Bobcat Innovation students in 6th-8th grade will participate with East Middle School Athletics for the first semester (Fall/Winter I seasons) and West Middle School Athletics for the second semester (Winter II/Spring seasons).
6th Grade
6th-graders may participate in cross-country (fall), wrestling (late fall), and track (spring). After-school transportation to middle schools is provided for in-person students. Virtual students will be responsible for their own transportation.
Students who plan to participate or try out for any sports this year must have an up-to-date physical on file. If you have any questions, you should check in with the Bobcat Innovation office. See the links and more information below.
7th and 8th Grades
7th- and 8th-graders may try out and participate in all sports offered at the middle school level according to MHSAA guidelines. Transportation to middle schools is provided after school for in-person students. Virtual students will be responsible for their transportation.
If you have any questions, check in with the Bobcat Innovation office.
Grand Blanc High School Athletics
Bobcat Innovation students in grades 9-12 can try out for sports and participate in other clubs and after-school activities at GBHS. You will have the same expectations and academic requirements as other athletes and be responsible for your own transportation to the school for practices and games outside of away activities where bus transportation is provided for the team to and from the building. It is a good idea to research well ahead of time who to contact if you want to participate, as many teams are active for more than just their season with non-mandatory training and workouts.
Athletic Requirements
An MHSAA pre-participation sports physical and athletic handbook form is required for all students who participate in sports. Both the handbook acknowledgement and the student-athlete's sports physical form should be submitted through FinalForms for the 2026-27 school year. This applies to all high school and middle school student-athletes in Grand Blanc Schools.
Grand Blanc Athletics has newly introduced FinalForms!
We are very excited to announce that the Grand Blanc Community Schools Athletic Department has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms pre-populates information, if possible, for each of your students, saving you time.
You may review your data at any time to verify that it is current. You will be required to sign your forms once per year and after any updates.
We are asking the parents/guardians of all students planning to play sports to create an account in FinalForms and register your student(s).
Directions to Create an Account in FinalForms
Please register at: grandblanccommunity-mi.finalforms.com and follow the prompts to create your account, enter your students, and sign your forms. If you require any support during the process, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Get Help”.
Thank you for your assistance in streamlining our paperwork processes at Grand Blanc Community Schools.
